My working life has involved websites, technology and online learning for more than 25 years. I've worked as a Webmaster and Web Developer in education and training, building and maintaining websites, developing custom web-based systems and creating online learning resources.
I've also trained staff and delivered website creation courses to adult students. A big part of that work was making technology easier to understand and helping people turn ideas into something practical they could use.
Today, I'm applying that experience to my own online business — creating digital products, building websites, developing courses and putting digital marketing into practice.
Much of my current work takes place through our joint business, MJM Shiers Co.
My wife Jillian and I work together across a range of digital, wellbeing and personal development projects. Jillian is the front-facing presence for much of our wellbeing work, while I often work behind the scenes on the technical and creative side.
That includes websites, sales funnels, video editing, graphics, digital resources, online courses and the systems that help bring our projects together.
It's a genuine partnership, with both of us contributing our own strengths to the work we create.
